Privacy Policy
This site collects very little. There are no accounts to sign up for and no forms to fill in, so we never ask for your name, email address or payment details, and we do not build profiles of which listings you look at. When you book, everything happens on the booking site's own page. Any card or contact details you enter there are handled by that site under its own privacy policy, not by us. Anonymous usage figures show which pages people find useful, and your browser settings let you block them at any time.
What This Site Collects
The short answer is: anonymous analytics and nothing else. These figures count page views and show roughly how visitors arrive, for instance from a search engine. They contain no names, no email addresses and nothing that identifies an individual Edinburgh stay search. Because there are no accounts and no comment or enquiry forms, there is no store of personal details sitting on this site to worry about.
Cookies And How To Control Them
Cookies are small files a site places in your browser, and here they do one job: carrying the anonymous analytics described above. No advertising cookies are set by this site itself. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and doing so will not stop you from browsing and comparing the stays listed here. The site works normally either way.
What Happens When You Leave
Every listing links out to a booking site, and once you click through you are on that company's territory. Its own privacy policy governs what it collects about you there, including any account, card or contact details you enter when reserving a room or bed. This site has no access to that information and no role in the booking itself, so questions about a reservation should go to the provider you booked with, using the contact details on its confirmation.
